Internet: más vale prevenir ... por Antonio Manfredi Díaz.

Breve reseña del conferenciante: Antonio Manfredi Diaz es Presidente de la Asociación de Periodistas Digitales de Andalucía, vocal del Consejo Andaluz de Asuntos del Menor y miembro del proyecto Cambio Climático en España (dirigido por Al Gore).

Licenciado en Ciencias de la Información por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, ha compaginado su profesión como periodista en medios como la Cadena SER, El País y el Correo de Andalucía con la docencia en la Universidad de Sevilla y el Centro de Estudios Empresariales de Sevilla, entre otros.

Actualmente es el Director de Medios Interactivos de la Radio Televisión de Andalucía.

Meeting June 20 2011

Sevilla, June 20, 2011. 

Gathered in the school hall of St.George 's School of Seville, Seville Road direction Huelva s / n, 41800 Sanlucar la Mayor, a total of 25, parents of college students above (No Teacher was there to represent the school) , at 19.30 the first constituent assembly of the Association of parents and teachers of students (the PTA) at St George's, RICHARD FORD-School of Seville was enacted/ First, to present the initiative were Carmen Varea, and Enrique Bocardo Crespo, a father of two students from year 4 and year 2, and Carmen Varea Rodriguez, mother of a pupil in year 4. Thus continued a brief insight of the philosophy and the aim pursued by PTA, which is none other than to collaborated with the school with the difficult task of educating our children with the common goal of achieving a highest quality education, and serve also as a vehicle for communication and interaction between parents and the management team and the school teacher for the resolution, all within an atmosphere of dialogue and cooperation, reading the problems that arise. It was shown to those gathered that the ultimate purpose of the meeting is the constitution of the executive committee and delegations deemed necessary, in addition to the approval of the statutes whose draft was sent to all parents dated June 15, 2011. Once that was done, to gather all the necessary documentation required by the Ministry of Interior and Justice to submit as soon as possible and finally the PTA will be constituted and recognized officially. Following the agenda of the letter convening the meeting, issued to parents dated June 15, 2011, the second item of the day, maked the following suggestions: 1. Lucia Sell intends to appoint a parent representative for each class and / or level, as a system of organization and communication between parents and the PTA. The proposal was accepted unanimously. It remains to see how to implement it, it will be early next year. 2. Carmen Varea proposes the implementation of a quota that would be of little amount (eg € 15 per family per year) and completely voluntary on the part of parents. In principle it is an issue to discuss and specify in the next meeting, since it is not a priority. 3. Because some parents want to help but do not have much availability for work or other reasons, the emphasis is on non-mandatory hold a managerial or Investigation Board as necessary to work with the PTA. Everyone can do so as you know or can. The PTA is open to any kind collaboration of all parents and teachers. We then passed to the fourth item on the agenda: Discussion and approval of the Statutes of the Association. Unanimously approved the draft statutes that were sent to all parents. A change is made as to the Investigation Board Issues called the British curriculum, which becomes: Issues related to the British and Spanish curriculum. Finally, the third point on the agenda and last topic discussed in the meeting: Presentation and vote on nominations to the executive committee and delegations,
noting that there has been only one candidate for each of the executive committee made, so which has not been necessary to make a vote among candidates for the same. Thus, the executive committee and delegations are composed as follows: President: Enrique Crespo Bocardo Secretary: Varea Carmen Rodriguez Deputy Secretary: Maria Angeles Lechon Roque Treasurer: Marian Martin Gonzalez Delegations: • Issues related to British and Spanish curriculum: Lucia Sell Trujillo • Infrastructure and equipment: Margarita Sanchez Iglesias • Event: Susana Voigt Lumbreras • Training for parents: Alicia Martínez Cascales • Extracurricular activities: Pascual Monica Canyon • Information and proposals: Purification Valverde Carranza • Library: David Caro de la Cruz The introduction to each of these charges is made on an entirely voluntary, without any coercion or pressure from any of the attendees, and noted that all have been accepted with the consent of all present at the meeting. The executive committee and delegation for the first meeting in the first week of September, were now in place thus committing the secretariat to keep in touch and report promptly all the progress achieved over time in terms of procedures with the Ministry of Interior and Justice. No more issues to discuss, the meeting ended at 21 hours.

PATE DE MEJILLONES

Ingredientes:

1 lata de atún tamaño normal

1 lata de mejillones en escabeche tamaño normal

4 quesitos en porciones

Elaboración: se vierte el contenido íntegro
(sin escurrir) de las latas de atún y mejillones, 
se añaden los 4 quesitos y se bate todo. 
Se sirve en frío.
Ideal para untar en tostas.

Cuento: El anciano y la sirena

Abrimos esta sección con un cuento tradicional de Inglaterra El anciano y la sirena, que nos habla de la recompensa a nuestras buenas acciones.

Hace muchos siglos, un viejo pescador caminaba por la ensenada Kynance cuando vió a una joven que lloraba desconsoladamente.

Many centuries ago, an old fisherman was walking along the Kynance cove when he saw a young woman who was crying inconsolably.

El anciano se acercó y para su sorpresa, vió que la joven era una sirena que no podía volver al mar: la marea había bajado tanto que el mar estaba demasiado lejos.

The old man approached and, to his surprise, saw that the girl was a mermaid who couldn´t return to the sea: the tide had gone out so much that the sea was too far away.

Pero a pesar de que las sirenas no tenían muy buena fama por aquellas costas, el viejo pescador le ofreció su ayuda.

But in spite of the fact that mermaids didn´t have a very good reputation along those coasts, the old fisherman offered her his help.

La sirena le dijo que tenía que volver al fondo del mar rápidamente porque había dejado a su marido dormido y era muy celoso: si no la encontraba cuando despertase, la mataría.

The mermaid told him she had to return to the bottom of the sea quickly because she had left her husband asleep and he was very jealous: if he didn´t find her when he woke up, he would kill her.

El anciano cargó a la sirena a su espalda y la llevó hasta el agua.

The old man hoisted the mermaid onto his back and carrier her to the water.

La sirena estaba tan agradecida que antes de marcharse le dijo al viejo que le daría lo que pidiese.

And the mermaid was so grateful that before leaving she told the old man that she would give him whatever he asked for.

El anciano le dijo que no quería dinero, pero sí tener el poder de curar y ayudar a los demás.

The old man told her he didn´t want money but he did want the power to cure and help others.

Entonces la sirena le dió un peine y le dijo que cada vez que necesitase ayuda, que peinara las aguas del mar cuando hubiese luna llena.

Then the mermaid gave him a comb and told him that whenever he needed help, he should comb the waters of the sea when there was a fullmoon.

Y así fue como durante mucho tiempo la sirena recompensó al anciano con todo tipo de conocimientos, hasta que éste se convirtió en un buen sanador y en una persona muy respetada por sus sabios consejos.

And that´s how for a long time the mermaid rewarded the old man with all kinds of knowledge until he became a good healer and a person who was very respected for his wise advice.
