"The art of allowing and forbidding: discipline at home" Conference

Dear families,
the  PTA’s  Board of Directors is pleased to inform you of the next School of Parents’ conference, to be held on Friday, 9 March, at 16.30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the College and whose theme will be:  The art of allowing and forbidding: discipline at home.

For this conference we have the privilege of having a special lecturer as Dr. D. Cayetano García-Castrillón, who will provide us several key elements  that will help us on the difficult parents’ work educating children at home. Dr. García-Castrillón is Child and Family psychiatrist doctor, psychoanalyst of the Spanish society of psychoanalysis and of the international Psychoanalytic Association in London. Director of the Seville Medical Association’s Parents school, he’s member of the journal psychopathology and mental health of the child and adolescent Advisory Board at the  Guides  Foundation  - Barcelona.  During the last year he has worked in different schools as Advisor  on the tutors work with families and children with difficulties and he has collaborated with the San Francisco de Paula School’s guidance
services, among others. His professional education was made in Barcelona, Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville, London and Montreal.
